The northwest side of the First Christian Church property is the location of this free community book exchange. It was a Girl Scout project to increase literacy in the community. The structure is at the southeast corner of Scott and Commerce (the address listed is for the church). Turquoise and Cream are the colors painted on the library, and it has one large shelf for reading material.
From the Little Free Library website:
Era Girl Scout Troop #8596 dedicated this, the first of six LFL opened November 2018 by Elizabeth Zimmerer and Victoria Zimmerer as part of their Girl Scout Gold Award Take Action Project to promote childhood literacy.
