Cette sculpture de l'artiste italienne Katherina Minardo est située à l'entrée de l'Hôpital Santa-Cabrini à Montréal. Intitulée The Guardian, elle représente un oiseau - probablement un hibou - avec la tête d'une femme. D'une hauteur d'environ deux mètres, la sculpture a été sculté en Italie dans le marbre de Carrare. Elle pèse quelques métrique tonnes. La sculpture a été produite pour le 50e anniversaire de la fondation de l'hôpital et inagurée le 18 novembre 2010.
L'Hôpital Santa Cabrini est un hôpital franco-italien situé sur la rue Saint-Zotique Est dans l'arrondissement Saint-Léonard de Montréal.
L'arrondissement a l'une des plus fortes concentrations d'Italo-Canadiens de la ville.

This sculpture by the Italian artist Katherina Minardo is located at the entrance of the Santa-Cabrini Hospital in Montreal. Entitled The Gurdian, it represents a bird - probably an owl - with the head of a woman. At a height of about two meters, the sculpture was carved in Italy in Carrara marble. It weighs a few metric tons. The sculpture was produced for the 50th anniversary of the founding of the hospital and unveiled on November 18, 2010.
Santa Cabrini Hospital is a French-English-Italian hospital located on Saint-Zotique East Street in the St-Leonard borough of Montreal.
The borough has one of the highest concentrations of Italian-Canadians in the city.
