In 1873 the railroad changed the face of Forney. It provided easier access to distant markets and stimulated economic growth. This also stimulated a growth in population which has continued today.

These facts are the inspiration for Forney, 75126. The railroad ties supporting the glass represent the influence on our city's growth while the placement of the glass pieces suggests boxcars. The blending of various cultures and experiences of the people in our community is represented in the fused glass. The vertical placement of the three pieces represents the growth and pride of Forney - its families.

This installation was dedicated to the citizens of Forney on July 22, 2017 by: Forney Arts Council and City without Limits Forney, Texas.
