Traveling northward on Broadway from the Alamo Heights high school, continue for about six blocks before arriving at the Broadway and Basse Road intersection. At this intersection, Basse Road is the street on the left of this intersection and Nagcogdoches Road is the street on the right of the intersection. You can turn left onto Basse Road and then turn right into the shopping mall; or, you can go through the intersections and then turn left across the traffic lanes to enter the mall from Broadway. It is safest to turn left onto Basse Rd, and then turn into The Shops at Lincoln Heights shopping mall at the first entrance you come upon.

This is a solidly built town clock that was made by the Canterbury Clock company. It stands about 10 feet tall on a solid cast iron base painted black. The base begins as a rectangle from the base plate at the ground but transitions to a round pipe about four feet up. The clock has two faces, both working. The face of the clock is white with large black Arabic numbering. The hands are tapered with scalloped edges, Interestingly, each hand also has a small counter weight extending from the center where it attaches to the clock. The extension is pained white so it blends with the white background of the face. The name of the clock manufacturer, Canterbury Clock, is printed beneath the center of the pivot point of the clock's hands. Atop the clock is a name plate with a white background with the name of the mall , The Shops at Lincoln Heights, painted in black letters on each side. The clock was keeping correct time on both sides.
