Fray Antonio Margil de Jesus

"THE EYES OF FATHER MARGIL" |
There was at the time a severe drought in all areas
of East Texas and of such long duration that not only
human beings but all animals were suffering critically
of thirst, in this extremity, like Moses of old, Margil with
a prayer on his lips, struck a rock with his cane
commanding that water come forth. All at once there was
water, cool and in abundance too.
