EN: This small wooden cross stands on the edge of the "Lötschberger Südrampe" hiking trail on the western flank of the Bietsch Valley.
The cross commemorates the fatal accident of a six-year-old girl in 1995. It is about half a meter high and contains a metal figure of Jesus, as well as a photo and life data of the girl.
DE: Dieses kleine Holzkreuz steht am Rand des Wanderwegs "Lötschberger Südrampe" and der Westflanke des Bietschtals.
Das Kreuz erinnert an den tödlichen Unfall eines sechsjährigen Mädchens im Jahr 1995. Es ist etwa einen halben Meter hoch und enthält eine metallene Jesusfigur, sowie ein Foto und die Lebensdaten des Mädchens.
