EN: This place on the "Lötschberger Südrampe" hiking trail offers an excellent view of the village of Raron, which is located to the south down in the Rhone Valley.
The Gothic church on the old castle hill, where the grave of the world-famous poet Rainer Maria Rilke is located, is particularly visible. Behind it, on the other side of the river, is the airfield. A little further west you can see the valley station of the aerial lift to Unterbäch
DE: Dieser Ort auf dem "Lötschberger Südrampe"-Wanderweg bietet eine ausgezeichnete Aussicht über das Dorf Raron, das sich gegen Süden unten im Rhonetal befindet.
Besonders gut sichtbar sind die gotische Kirche auf dem alten Burghügel, wo sich auch das Grab des weltberühmten Dichters Rainer Maria Rilke befindet. Dahinter, auf der anderen Flussseite befindet sich der Flugplatz. Etwas weiter westlich sieht man die Talstation der Seilbahn nach Unterbäch.
