Hand written cornerstone....Bridge abandoned but in good shape at St. Johns Rd. over Browns Branch East Fork Creek.

Repairs to bridge dated 1904

On the north side is a concrete patch with the date: Sept 3, 1904 - A. J.

This bridge was once the bridge for St. Johns Road. When the new road was built it was abandoned.
The Stone Arch bridge is in good shape, even though side tracks to oblivion.
Nothing passes over it anymore, except visitors to its beauty.
