The George Hughes home (aka Agnes Brewer house)was built in the Craftsman Bungalow style in 1923. This is a two-story clapboard four-over-four house with a hipped roof. A covered veranda porch extends across the full North-facing facade, and partially along the east side. The porch roof is supported by square brick columns topped with tapered wood columns. The porch is faced with a brick wall. Five wooden steps lead to the front entrance.
On the west side is a one-story bay window. All windows are 3/1 double hung. The front entrance door is glass panel with narrow sidelights. The wide overhanging eaves have exposed rafters. The home is currently occupied.
