Lychgate at the entrance to St Mary's churchyard, Teynham. It is constructed of wood, and originally built in 1920 as a WWI memorial. Below the pitched roof, through the gates to the churchyard, are wooden seats. It was restored in 2008, and is at this time that it probably officially became a combined WWI / WWII memorial.
A wooden beam is inscribed -
To the glorious dead 1914 - 1919. 1939 - 1945.
