This 30 foot 6 inch long concrete tiger muskie was created in 1950 by a local taxidermist. Almost from the beginning, it has been meant to draw tourists, and you can find vintage postcards of the giant fish.
The World's Largest Tiger Muskie is under a roof and in front of a picnic shelter in Muskie Park. The Heartland State Trail runs alongside the city park.
The muskie has been repainted at least three times. The big fish originally had a mouthful of fearsome wooden teeth, but almost all have been removed.
The sign has also been repainted.
Food and gas nearby.
