This is authentic Mexican food, not Tex-Mex or what you will find in chain places. The chef, Angel Espinoza Jimenez, was born in Tlaxcala, Mexico. He learned most of th recipes from his mother while growing up.
His knowledge comes from a lifetime of experience and many family recipes. “We shop locally using mostly organic ingredients and select meats to achieve our goal to serve you the best of the best. This is what makes Xicohtencatl Mexican Restaurant a wonderful dining experience.”
