This is the first deaf Starbucks in the United States and second one in the world. It has the standard layout, however all employees are proficient in American Sign Language and that is the preferred way to order. Review: Since I am fluent in ASL I had an easy time ordering for myself and my party. I enjoyed chatting with the other patrons as well while I waited for the order to be completed. I truly enjoyed the lack of music and silence here. A break from all the other places along H Street.
