The former St. Joesph's Home for Children, located on West Sixth Street, between Delaware and Maryland Avenues in Erie, Pennsylvania, was dedicated by the Right Reverend John Mark Gannon, Bishop of Erie, in 1922. Now senior apartments, the building served as an orphanage from the time of its completion in 1924 until 1971. The cornerstone of the building commemorates the dedication and includes the Bishop's name and the year "A.D. 1922."
