St Jude steeple is not the stereotypical New England steeple. It is a very modern architectural interpretation of the classical steeple. The church itself is a single story building which has 2 structures that emerge from the top, the steeple and the other is a bell tower. The steeple is set back from the entrance, rises by a four sided curved structure with the base much larger than the top. This bases is covered by asphalt shingles. On top of this base is another curved structure, the one curved outward, that has the appearance of being constructed much like a iron rail. A simple square pole rises out of these structure which is topped with a cross.
Location of the Steeple: 299 FRONT ST Lincoln, RI
Approximate Date of Construction: 1979
