This wonderful memorial to firefighters is located outside Fire Station 81 in Derby.

This sculpture is located inside a beautifully landscaped area at the southwest corner of Madison and N. Woodlawn, in front of Firestation 81. The bronze sculpture is set on top of an octagonal pedestal that is about 4' high and 8' wide. The lifesize firefighters are shown in full gear, on their way to a fire (answering the alarm). The artist put so much detail into the firefighters' uniform and equipment. "Made in USA" is at the bottom of a boot, and the artist's signature is on the circular base that each firefighter has one foot on. One man is a little in front of the other, and he is pointing ahead with his left arm.
