We were able to watch the ISS on an almost cloudless sky, from 21:46 to 21:52 in south Edmond. It traveled from the SW to the SE to NE. The space station was almost directly above us at max altitude of 87º at 21:49:22, magnitude -3.8. Except for being eaten by bugs, this was a really good experience.
The distance the ISS traveled from Edmond, OK to Warrenton, MO was 464 miles (1 minute 35 seconds flight time). The distance traveled from Warrenton, MO to Erie, PA was 693 miles (2 minutes 22 seconds). The total distance traveled from Site 1 to Site 3 was 1157 miles (3 minutes 57 seconds). We were able to watch the ISS on the downturn while it was already at the max altitude over Warrenton, MO, and for about two minutes while it was visible in Erie, PA.
YoSam was clouded out.
jonathanatpsu was able to watch the ISS for about 6 minutes. The space station was clearly visible at a max altitude of 53º at 22:53:19, magnitude -2.9.
