An eight year old boy obtained permission of the Chicopee Parks and Recreation Commission to install this community book exchange in Ike Alpert Park. The result is a very well done community library that resembles a small house. The book exchange is constructed of wood. It has a gabled roof, two large shelves, and a glass door. It is supported by an iron pole bolted to a concrete base.
