The Baiona Marina is located in the cove of Baiona, to the SSE of the Cíes Islands and just 5 M from them. The safest entrance is between Cabo Silleiro and the islets of As Serralleiras and As Estelas. The approach will be made so that we are in front of the mouth (giving a shelter of at least 1M to Cabo Silleiro) and to the true S of the lighthouse of Monte Faro -in the Cíes Islands- to seek the direction of the tower-beacon of the Cabezo de San Juan with that of San Juan beach, which marks the 084th (sometimes it doesn't look very good). Another option is to leave the cardinal buoy at the bottom of San Francisco on the port side to continue navigating course E until you are guided by the Castle of Monterreal and by the green beacon of the jetty that protects the port. Bent this, we will find the facilities of the Monte Real Club de Yates to starboard, the fishing port to the bow and to the port of the Baiona Marina. Coming from Cíes, you can also enter through the Canal de la Porta, which is between Monte Ferro and Estelas de Tierra Island (although it is not highly recommended if it is not known for having a low with 1m of water at low tide almost right in the middle of the channel).
