We were so glad to partner with Winos_Seattle and rpapaman for an ISS waymark. This was a work-in-progress and over time we re-checked data to make sure we'd all get a good view of the space station.

For us in Oklahoma, the sky was heavily overcast, except for a small opening directly above us through which we observed the ISS near its maximum altitude of 87º from 05:56:15 until 05:56:30. We briefly observed the moon and an airplane in the southwest just north of the predicted pass of the ISS. The maximum brightness of the ISS was magnitude -3.8 when we observed it, but the actual brightness from our location was somewhat less because of the clouds.

A maximum altitude of 87º was reached at Site 1 at 03:50:45.
A maximum altitude of 67º was reached at Site 2 at 04:52:29.
A maximum altitude of 87º was reached at Site 3 at 05:56:35.

The distance between Site 1 in Issaquah and Site 2 in Butte was 513 miles (1.75 minutes at 293 miles per minute) and the distance from Site 2 in Butte to Site 3 in Edmond was 1,201 miles (4.10 minutes at 293 miles per minute), for a total distance of 1714 miles traveled.

Both of our partners, in Washington and Montana, were able to successfully view the same ISS pass as us. This was a really fun partnership!
