These two telephone boxes are situated at the north-eastern corner of Market Square in the small town of Alyth in eastern Perthshire, Scotland. Now redundant as to their former use, both were refurbished and put to new use in the last few years.
The northernmost box became 'The Story Box' an oral history of the town, and also the smallest museum in Scotland until recently, when after the lease on the box ran out it was moved to the town's library, leaving the box now empty. The southernmost box is now used as a defibrillator.
The boxes are adjacent to the car park in the square, and beside the footbridge that crosses the Alyth Burn.
