A holy water stoup in the Gethsemane Chapel, at the east end of the north aisle, Bath Abbey, Bath.
This chapel was first consecrated as a First World War Memorial Chapel in 1923. It has also been known as the Norman Chapel.
The stoup is undoubtedly older, although the age is not recorded. At a guess, 18th century. It has an interesting quarterfoil design, and has a domed cover, with an acorn finnial. It stands in a long narrow stem, on an octagonal base.
