Glen Cairn Public School is located on Morrena Road in Kanata. In front of the school, along the road, two mature and healthy spruce trees grow in memory of Sean and Neil Van Rotterdam. Sean and Neil would have been Grade Two students in 1997. Their lives were lost in tragedy in August 1997. The twins Sean and Neil and their father died in a highway accident.
