This twin barreled, self propelled gun appears complete and ready to fight. It is on a concrete slab and in the area are memorials for wars going back to WWI. Deming is located close to the Mexico border and in 1916 members of the New Mexico national guard, located at this site, chased Pancho Villa back to Mexico. The national guard building, now housing the history museum was built in that year. this piece of equipment appears to date to WW II or later.
The museum is located at 301 South Silver Street, Deming NM.
