NRHP Nomination Form

"This two-story building matches the materials and scale of the adjacent bank building, and is visually connected to the bank by its identical cornice and parapet, lintels, and second-floor fenestration. It originally housed a hardware store. The building's regular three-bay composition is reflected on both floors. The first floor features two large storefront windows flanking a double-door entrance, which is flush with the wall. All openings are of the same size, spaced approximately two feet apart, and each is topped with a 4-lite transom. The upper floor features three pairs of wood 1-over-l sash windows, each with an identical single-lite transom. Each pair of windows is joined under an H-shaped limestone lintel. A simple brick stringcourse runs the length of the facade below the roof parapet with short pilasters separating the bays from the stringcourse to the top of the stone parapet. The south facade is symmetrical, with single low-arched windows flanking a doorway at the ground level, and four low-arched windows at the top story, two of which are paired under a single arched in the central bay. Two downspouts, various pipes, and electrical conduits are attached."
