This particular windmill was moved from Lahdenvainio, farmhouse of Ala-Laurila on 1957. It represents "mamsellimylly" type of windmills. Appearance is like woman with dress. Most powerful type of mills. There is still 73 of them around Finland.
You cannot access inside of mill, but it's easily reached to see it from close distant and observe small memorial plaque side of it. On top of windmill you will find something indicating manufacturing year!
Tämä tuulimylly siirrettiin vuonna 1957 Lahdenvainiosta, Ala-Laurilan tilalta. Se edustaa "mamsellimylly"-tyylisiä myllyjä. Sen ulkomuoto on kuin nainen hameen kanssa. Erittäin voimakas myllytyyppi. Näitä on vielä 73 jäljellä ympäri Suomea.
Myllyn sisälle ei ole pääsyä, mutta voit tulla sen lähelle ja katsoa vaikka sivustalla olevaa muistolaattaa. Myllyn huipulla on jotain mikä kertoo valmistusvuoden!
