An adorable little angel is sitting on top of a 4-5' pedestal in front of the Cañon City Public Library.

This little angel is about 18" tall and 18" wide when considering the wings on his back. He is sleeping, slightly curled forward, head tilted to his left, resting on his right forearm. His legs are crossed, left hand on left knee. The sculpture is next to a bench that is at the west side of the Library, near the main entrance, with shrubbery and landscaping all around.
Angels are supernatural beings, and according to wikipedia, God's servants. Christian culture often depicts angels as helping souls through death and onto heaven.
