Diese Skulptur von Günther Uecker steht am Kö-Bogen auf der Parkseite. Sie trägt den Namen "Nagel" und zeigt - wie der Name schon sagt - tatsächlich einen originalgetreuen Nagel. Allerdings hat der hier abgebildete Nagel statt wenigen Zentimetern eine Größe von etwa zwei Metern. Er wurde schräg im Boden versenkt, so dass er den Eindruck erweckt, er wäre mit einem Hammer in den Boden geschlagen worden.

Das Kunstwerk wurde 2012 vom Industrie-Club anlässlich dessen 100-jährigen Bestehens der Stadt Düsseldorf geschenkt. Diese stellte es 2013 hier am neu eröffneten Luxus-Shoppingcenter Kö-Bogen auf. Der Nagel soll an die industrielle Entwicklung Düsseldorfs erinnern.
This sculpture by Günther Uecker is at the Kö-Bogen on the park side. It bears the name "Nagel" (i.e. "Nail") and - as the name suggests - actually shows a realistic nail that is true to the original. However, the nail shown here has a size of about two meters instead of a few centimeters. It was sunk into the ground at an angle, giving the impression that it had been hammered into the ground.

The artwork was donated to the city of Düsseldorf by the Industry Club in 2012 on the occasion of its 100th anniversary. The city set it up here in 2013 at the newly opened luxury shopping center Kö-Bogen. The nail should remind of the industrial development of Düsseldorf.
