Oklahoma City and the surrounding communities sponsor a "Close To Home" fishing program, with fishing lakes and ponds throughout the metro area. This fine little fishing pond is found in Welch Park, in northeast Yukon, Oklahoma. While some species are catch-and-release, others can be kept and you can pan-fry all of the sunfish you can catch. A state license is required to fish here.
