"L'architecture de l'école Marie-Charlotte témoigne d'un mélange de l'architecture moderne et de l'histoire religieuse de l'institution. Le bâtiment de brique imposant s'élève sur trois étages. Ce bâtiment joint deux bâtisses rectangulaires par une insertion centrale qui s'élève plus haut que le reste du bâtiment. Cet ajout volumétrique dynamise le bâtiment par la position un peu en retrait du pavillon central. Cette architecture rappelle celle de l'Académie Saint-Viateur et de l'école les Mélèzes, surtout par le pavillon central présent dans les trois édifices. On peut remarquer une légère alcôve au milieu du pavillon dans laquelle est taillée une croix pour rappeler le passé religieux de l'institution."
