Sur les côtés de la place Bourget, au nord et au sud, se déploient six murs d’eau. De l’eau coule du sommet de ces monolithes de granit. Le dynamise économique de la Ville s’incarne dans les murs d’eau, clin d’œil à la force hydraulique de la rivière L’Assomption à l’origine du développement de Joliette.

Symbolic of the work
On the sides of Place Bourget, north and south, are six water walls. Water flows from the top of these granite monoliths. The economic dynamism of the City is embodied in the walls of water, a nod to the hydraulic power of the L’Assumption River which is at the origin of the development of Joliette.
