While most of this 15-30's mechanicals are still present, it no longer has any bodywork, belt pulley, ignition system, fuel tank, cooling system, seat or steering wheel. Other than that it's ready to hit the field once again.
The 15-30 was produced from 1923 to 1929 by International Harvester - it bears the IH logo. While this unit is on steel wheels, some later units may have been offered with rubber tires. Most, if not all, units seen now on rubber were later converted by/for the owner. This tractor bears serial number TG 66986, indicating it was most likely a 1927 model. Serial number lists for the 15-30 are hard to find but these two (TG 55496 = 1927 - TG 87841 = 1928) narrow the year of manufacture to 1927 or 28.
