Anamosa Main Street Clock - Anamosa, Iowa - Town Clocks on Waymarking.com

This cast aluminium pedestal clock with two faces is located along the south sidewalk and in front of the Chipman Building. It stands approximately ten feet tall, painted black, and has "Anamosa" written in gold lettering within a fancy scrollwork topper for the clock. There isn't any kind of dedication or marker for the clock. I also am unable to determine when the clock was placed.

The clock itself has two faces - pointed east and west - so that traffic can read the time. The clock was constructed by the Electric Time Clock Company of Medford, Massachusetts. The company calls this style the small "Howard" clock. More details can be found here - (visit link) .
The clock faces are white with black Roman numerals every five minutes and a small black rectangle every minute. The clock has solid black hands for both the hour and minute - there isn't a second hand.
