From the original survey (1766) to 1902, this location was marked by a mound of stones which are still present. In 1902 a dressed magnesian limestone post with a low pyramidal top, quarried in Cockeysville, Maryland; orginally measured aboiut 10 inches square by about 4.5 feet long, cut to stand about 1.5 feet high above the ground. On the north side of the monument is a P, M on the south side and the years 1766 (Original survey year) on the east with 1902 on the west (when monument was set).
