From his Death Certificate we learn that Edward W. Haass died from hemorrhage and shock due to a fall from a scaffold. His occupation is not listed, but we can assume that it was something in the building trades.

The monument is made of red granite. The inscription is to the left and there is a column on the right hand side. One third, the top, is broken off and lies on a portion of the monument. On the left towards the top is a photo Edward, which is in remarkable condition considering its age.

The name of the cemetery, Woodmen of the World Cemetery, was obtained from the Death Certificate. It appears there are several cemeteries at this location.
