The Town Trader is a 3300 square foot shop with 22 booths.

It's located in a 1690's trading post and is
the oldest structure in Historic Chepachet Village.

The building features hand-hewn beams and a flue-less Beehive
brick fireplace that is in the center of the oldest part of the building.

Also known as the Lydia Slocum House, it was the birthplace of
Rhode Island Attorney General Ziba Slocum, and was the home
of Charles Carlton, Spanish-American War veteran.

Please visit our shop soon to view our historic building
and the many antique treasures housed here!
