English: Collection of graves in the Assistens cemetery in Nyborg. Eleven commemorative stones over allied airmen at the Assistens cemetery in Nyborg. Five of the stones mark the airmen from Halifax II HR712, which crashed over Slipshavn on April 21, 1943. Two of the stones are set over airmen from Lancaster III ED818, which was shot down at Vresen in the Great Belt on the same day. Two, Chilvers (dead 7th may 1945) and Howe (20th june 1945), died after the war ended in Denmark. Two of the memorial stones are set for unknown airmen.
