Fort Worth Star-Telegram

"Text below picture:
The above is the new $500,000 Government building at Wichita Falls, opened Sunday, April 2, which houses the post office and federal officers. Of modernistic classical design, the structure faces 204 feet on Lamar, occupying the half block between Tenth and Eleventh Streets. It rises three stories to a height of 62 feet, about the equivalent of the average five-story building. It is one of the more imposing buildings of its kind in Texas and contains all the latest conveniences for the handling of mail. The offices are exceptionally well appointed."
