"Local artist Ralph Stearns and his brother spent four months crafting "Wally the Wood Duck".

He has a home for now in the South Weeks Park Pond on Southwest Parkway.

Stearns says he envisioned a duck landing on this planet from another planet so he made Wally pretty big.

He has donated his art to the Wichita Falls Parks and Rec Department.

Parks officials plan on keeping the big guy at South Weeks for now but may move him in the future."
