162H3 was monumented in the southeast foundation of the Post Office/Federal Building in 1953, doubtless not long after the building was completed and opened to the public.
Today 162H3 remains right were it was originally put, but is considerably harder to spot under a very thick coat of sky blue paint. The reason? A large mural has been painted on the southeast wall, covering the entire wall, and 162H3. However, if one looks closely "
49 cm from the northeast corner and 40 cm above the sidewalk" it will become evident.
