The Route 70 bridges over the Assiniboine River were replaced in 2005 and 2006. The southbound span (Maryland Street) was the first, in 2005.
The engraving simply reads "2005". It is found at the north end of the bridge on the east side.
The closest parking is street parking on Woodrow Place. From there take the walkway under the bridge to the area between the spans, then look back and up at the bridge to see the engraving.
