Along the CPR mainline into Vancouver, the tracks have been here since prior to 1885.

This bridge would be at least the second to be built over Gordon Creek, more likely the third. A benchmark, 89C149, can be found in the top of the bridge's northwest abutment. It was monumented in 1989, making this bridge at least that old, but probably not much older.

A simple steel girder bridge, it is about 35 metres in length and spans Gordon Creek about 160 metres before the creek empties into the Fraser River. The bridge has been in continuous use since its construction by the CPR. Being on the mainline, this is even a good train spotting location.

The Trans-Canada Highway is adjacent and one may park on the wide gravel shoulder to the north of this bridge.
