Monumented in 1989 on the CPR bridge over Gordon Creek, 89C149 is easily spotted in the top of the bridge's northwest concrete abutment. Off to the side of the tracks, the abutment here is fenced, making it a relatively safe spot for Benchmark watching.
The Trans-Canada is adjacent and one may park on the wide gravel shoulder to the north of this bridge.
