In the town of Keremeos, on the south side of the Crowsnest Highway on the east side of 6th Street is where one will find Benchmark 1426J.

Now the Branding Iron Bar & Grill, when 1426J was monumented in 1959 this building was the Keremeos outlet for Buckerfield's, a farm and ranch supply company. Buckerfield's remains extant, but no longer has an outlet in Keremeos. 1426J is monumented low in the west wall, just above the concrete pad at ground level, near the front, north, end. It's been painted over, making it a bit hard to spot.
