Vinegar Jones is a fish and chip shop located on Royal Square in Bowness-on-Windermere.

After being in business for more than 20 years, fire completely destroyed the inside of the shop forcing it to close. The newly refurbished shop underwent a complete face-lift in 2013. The revamped facilities include a 40 seater dining room with high chairs, baby changing facilities and FREE Wi-Fi.
They offer loyalty cards that allow you to get 5% discount every time you visit the shop.

The shop run by Paul & Tracey provides fresh and locally sourced food.
All food is cooked on site, sustainably sourced fish, British potatoes peeled, cut and fried all day everyday. They aim to encompass dietary requirements with a vegetarian menu, halal chicken dishes and burger, sauces and sides.
