This mural covers the surrounding wall of the local firehouse in San Pedro de Atacama.
This small town which provides a solid base to the tourists exploring the surrounding desert and the Salar de Uyuni, has a modern firehouse.
The complex was inaugurated in 2012 and although the mural is not dated nor signed, it's likely that it was painted by then.
It's a long mural, depicting scenes of local life. A fireman watches, as he makes sure that everything goes on safely and peaceful.
The mural is dominated by warm colors. Tones of brown and orange, mostly.
