Holy Trinity Parish was founded in 1903 by the Diocese of Springfield, MA and staffed by the Missionaries of La Salette to serve the religious needs of Polish immigrants in Westfield. The current building was constructed in 1909 in the Romanesque Revival style.

The west facing facade has a gabled roof over a two story nave which is flanked by 1.5 story aisles. The façade is made of red bricks and ornamented yellow brick piers that rise the full length of the structure. The nave has a central entry above which is a lunette with a sculpture of Mary, child Jesus, and and two angels. Above the entrance is a large stained-glass rose window.

The church is nine bays in length with side entrances at the front and eight bays of arched Romanesque windows. Below the roof line is a series of seven round windows. On the north side of the church is a square bell tower. At the third level there is a belfry with triple-arched openings. Above is comical a slate covered spire with pinnacles at each of its four corners.

The Westfield Center Historic District (06/25/2013) is a major expansion of the Westfield Center Commercial Historic District. (visit link)
