Erected 1906 by Devoted members of the 141st Regiment, 6th Reserve and Patriotic Citizens.

Description: General Madill fought during the U.S. Civil War at Chancellorsville, the Wilderness, Spottsylvania, Cold Harbor, and the siege of Petersburg. At various times he was in command of the brigade. For his heroism at Chancellorsville and Gettysburg, he was brevetted Brigadier General, December 2, 1864
