Munkebo Bakke is 58 meters above sea level and is one obvious excursion spot. From the tower at Munkebo Bakke there is a very beautiful view.

Dansk: Munkebo Bakke ligger 58 m. over havet og er ett oplagt udflugtssted. Fra tårnet på Munkebo Bakke er der en meget smuk udsigt. Fra tårnet er der blandt andet mulighed for at se Samsø og bropillerne på Storebæltsbroen. Tårnet i sin nuværende skikkelse er bygget af Munkebo Kommune i 1993, doneret af A.P.Møller-fonden. Det afløste et lidt lavere tårn fra 1895, opført af gårdejer Niels Hansen på Bakkegården. Munkebo bakke er en del af Munkebostien. Folder til munkebostien kan fås på Kerteminde Turistbureau.

English: Munkebo Bakke is 58 meters above sea level and is one obvious excursion spot. From the tower at Munkebo Bakke there is a very beautiful view. From the tower there is the opportunity to see Samsø and the bridge pillars on the Great Belt Bridge. The tower in its current shape was built by the Municipality of Munkebo in 1993, donated by the A.P.Møller Foundation. It replaced a slightly lower tower from 1895, built by farm owner Niels Hansen at Bakkegården. Munkebo hill is part of the footpath Munkebostien. Leaflets for the path can be obtained at the Kerteminde Tourist Office.
