From the intersection with Barr Road, travel generally NE on Cline Falls Highway for 2.3 miles. Pass through a gate on the left and continue 1.8 miles on the road which leads to the highest summit of Cline Buttes. There is an intersecting road on the left. The quarter corner bears W, 495' distant.
See also, survey CS#13983 filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors Office and brought to my attention by Kevin Samuel, Deschutes County Surveyor.
Type of survey mark: 5/8" iron rod rising 8" in a pile of stones which may contain the original one, 14 x 8 x 6".

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
Found three western junipers with wooden stakes nailed to the trunks. The corner is identified on a more recently added 1-1/2 x 1/2" wood lath which reads "1/4 COR SECS 20 & 21".

private property SW, Loyal Land LLC; BLM land, SE; else State of Oregon land
